Barbara L. (Erwel) Zeisz

ZEISZ, BARBARA L. (nee ERWEL), age 88 of the City of Tonawanda, April 6, 2019 at her daughter's residence under the care of Hospice. Wife of the the late Francis A. "Zeke" Zeisz who died in 2001, and daughter of the late Carl and Ellen (nee Synder) Erwell. Mother of Debbie (Rick) Wiechec, Danell (Thomas) Pazik and the late David "Squirrel" Zeisz, grandmother of Courtney (Seth) Burnette, Corry (Jen) Wiechec, Carly (Dylan) Magarrell, Ryan (Olivia) Pazik and Gina (Brian) Buckley, great grandmother of Parker, Ethan, Zeke, Zia, Zane, Colston, Jenna, Evan and Gwendolyn, sister of Nancy Kanter and the late Jack, Bill, Bob, Ione, Gert, Mary and Olive. Also many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a 1949 graduate of Tonawanda High School. The most important part of her life was her family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday (April 11) from 3-7 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 7 PM following the visitation. Everyone welcome. A private burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
