Age 66, a lifelong resident of the City of Tonawanda, Monday, September 17, 2018, at Strong Memorial Hospital; beloved husband of 45 years of Sandra J. (nee Muenzel) Horan; father of Donald (Aimee) Horan and Wendy (David) Mack; son of the late Harry and Gloria (nee Grimm) Horan; brother of Susan (John) Keller, Peggy (Michael) Clark, and Dennis (Susan) Horan; also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family will be present on Saturday, September 22, from 9:30 - 11:30 AM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (Between Morgan & Broad St.) City of Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 following visitation. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to University of Rochester Advancement P.O. Box 270032 Rochester, NY 14627. Donald was a Strong Memorial Hospital Heart Transplant recipient for 17 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved the outdoors. Donald enjoyed and supported all the Buffalo area sports teams. He also volunteered in the kitchen for Ken-Ton Meals on Wheels.
