Edwin Butz

Age 95, of the City of Tonawanda, April 25, 2018. Husband of 68 years of Martha A. (nee Strothmann) Butz who died in 2010; father of Barry E. (Connie) Butz and Jeffrey L. Butz; grandfather of Craig A., Mark E. (Kate Ogden), Nicole (Troy Blake) Butz and the late Jeffrey A. Butz; great-grandfather of Haydin and Rowan Butz and Leo Hellyer and Leo’s mothers Shannon Rinzler and Karen Hellyer; brother-in-law of Dorothy Strothmann; son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Butz and brother of the late Frederick and Mildred Butz. Edwin was a US Army Air Corps Veteran serving in Europe. He had been employed by the City of Tonawanda Post Office and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 1st from 2-3 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 3PM following the visitation. Everyone welcome.
