Age 87, of the City of Tonawanda, Sunday, May 6, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Delores L. (nee Kolb) Dolpp who died in 2016; father of Michael A. (Linda) Dolpp, Karen L. (Dennis) Smith, and Susan E. (Larry) Klock; grandfather of Gretchen and Kimberly Smith, Amy (Kenneth) Enser, Casey Cooley, and Matthew and Joel Klock; son of the late Chester and Helen (nee Krantz) Dolpp; brother of Audrey Batt and the late Evelyn Mack, Dorothy William, Othel Overturf and Arnold, LaVern, and Robert Dolpp; brother-inlaw of Joyce (late Arnold) Dolpp; also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Floyd was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the City of Tonawanda. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, serving on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. Floyd was employed as a Truck Driver for Tondisco Distributors in North Tonawanda for 43 years, retiring in 1991. He was a life member of Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion and a life member of Frontiersmen Post 7545 VFW. He was also a 65 plus year member of Sweeney Hose Co. and the North Tonawanda Firemen’s Benevolent Association. Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (Between Morgan and Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 12th, at 11 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 107 Scott St. (corner of William St.), City of Tonawanda. Everyone welcome. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 107 Scott St., Tonawanda, NY 14150.
