Gerald P. Franklin

FRANKLIN - Gerald P. Of Miami, FL, and formerly of North Tonawanda, NY, died on December 26, 2008, at the age of 83; beloved husband of 61 years of the late Elizabeth M. (nee DeSimone) Franklin; father of Thomas (late Elena) Franklin, Gary (Mary Anne) Franklin, and Donna (Jerry) Ashe; brother of Allen Franklin and the late Stanley (late Mary), Parnell, Marshall, Rollie, Robert, Evelyn and Ethelyn Franklin; also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Franklin was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, and had been employed as a Millwright for Chevy Division of GM for 26 years, retiring in 1988. There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 29, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 57 Center St. in North Tonawanda, NY. Family and friends invited. A private inurnment will be in Epiphany Chapel Mausoleum at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Tonawanda. Arrangements by JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tonawanda.
