Gordon Tussing Obituary

TUSSING - Gordon P., Sr.
Age 100, of the City of Tonawanda, April 29, 2018. Husband of 73 years of Vivian C. (nee May) Tussing; father of Judy (Robert) Mitchell, Dr. Gordon (Karen) Tussing, Jr. and Barbara (Keith) Lipps; grandfather of Dustin (Sara) and Duncan (Melissa) Mitchell, Victoria Tussing, Jennifer and Timothy (Cherisse) Lipps; great-grandfather of Victoria Mitchell; brother of Jean (late Lloyd) Robins. Gordon was a 1937 graduate of Tonawanda High School was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was an active member of Salem United Church of Christ where he was a choir member for 50 years. Gordon was a 70-year member of Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion and a member of the American Legion Band. There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tonawanda, NY.
