Irene Springer Obituary

SPRINGER - Irene J. (nee Kanack)

Age 84, of the Town of Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, July 23, 2018. Wife of 62 years of Donald A. Springer; grandmother of KC, Tim and Kaitlyn Weber; sister of the late Alex and Walter Kanack and sister-in-law of Joanne (late Lynn) Tuck. Also many nieces and nephews. Irene was a 1952 graduate of Tonawanda High School and had been employed as a Registered Nurse at DeGraff Memorial Hospital for 40 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of The Historical Society of the Tonawandas. There was no prior visitation. A private Memorial Service was held at Elmlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to DeGraff Memorial Hospital or to the Historical Society of the Tonawandas.
