WEBER - John Robert
Age 93, of the City of Tonawanda, February 15, 2019, husband of 74 years to Ruth E. (nee Muncil) Weber; father of Robert W. (Lynn) Weber of Pendleton, Donna J. (Robert) Beach of Hamburg and the late Scott J. Weber; grandfather of Jennifer, Stacey, Elizabeth, Kelly and Adrienne and 14 great-grandchildren; brother of Richard (Alice) Weber and the late Jean D. Gilmore. John along with his brother, Richard, owned and operated Weber’s Automotive in Tonawanda for 50 years. John was a US Army veteran serving during World War II and was a Life Member of Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion. He was also a life long member of First Presbyterian Church in Tonawanda, where he served as a Deacon and Elder. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 19th, from 11 AM-1 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at 1 PM following the calling hours. Everyone welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 149 Broad St., Tonawanda, NY 14150 or to Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion, 43 Main St., Tonawanda, NY 14150.
