Age 81 of the City of Tonawanda, September 18, 2018. Wife of the late James P. Hammond who died in 2009; mother of Richard (Laurie) Andres, Linda (Richard) Chamberlain, Diane Andres, Kevin (Deanna) Andres, Brian (Lisa) Hammond, and the late James Andres and Ann Marie Lindner; mother-in-law of Diana Andres and Bruce Lindner; grandmother of Karen, Mary, Ricky, Chivon, Christine, Nicole, Leighann and Collin; and many great- grandchildren; sister of Alfred and Ellen; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mary was a passionate shopper and had a flair for style. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (Sept. 21) from 4-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC. 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. A cemetery prayer service will be private. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions are preferred to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
