Age 91, of the City of Tonawanda, NY, unexpectedly, Sunday, October 6, 2019; beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Johnston) Wilkie, loving father of Bert (Darlene Passarelli) Wilkie, Chrislyn (Shawn) McDonald, Eric (Judith) Wilkie, James (Kiesha) Wilkie, and the late Bruce Wilkie, step- father of Juli (Felton) Cotton, and James Bertalan, father-in-law of Debbie (late Bruce) Wilkie, son of the late Charles William and Mary Elizabeth (nee Brooker) Wilkie, brother of Rosemarie (late James) McDonald, Joyce (William) Stratis, and the late Elizabeth (late Al) Sterringer, and Eileen (late Bernard) Gallant; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 2-6 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (Between Morgan & Broad Sts.) City of Tonawanda. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 10 AM at Elmlawn Memorial Park Sunrise Chapel Mausoleum, 3939 Delaware Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Friends invited (please assemble at front gate). Raymond was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II, and loved spending time withfamily.
