Simpson, Robert L. "Bert"

 Age 88 of the City of Tonawanda, died January 20, 2020. Husband of Genevieve M. (nee Degone) (Boudreau) Simpson, step father of  Mark (Jean) Boudreau, Doreen (Robert) Laubacker, Glen Boudreau, and Paul Boudreau, step grandfather of  Jennifer, Robert, Jessica, Mark, Bryan, Sarah and Katie and 11 step great grandchildren, Brother of the late Nan (late William) Still and uncle of Roberta (Michael) Creighton and William Still.  Brother in law of Shirley (late Ronald) Godin, Rose Marie (Edward) Morrow and the late Raymond (Mary- living) Degone and the late Robert (Ann-living) Degone. Bert was an avid hockey player, playing in Scotland and Canada, was an avid golfer, a member of Sheridan and Brighton Golf Clubs (he had 4 holes in one!) and was a member of the Canadian Legion in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. Bert worked at General Motors as a machinist 32 years retiring in 1991. Family will receive relatives and friends Monday, January 27, 1-3 PM  at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME INC. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.), 25 William St., Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be held following the visitation at 3 PM. Everyone welcome.
