Miller, Alfred J. “Buddy”

Age 78, of the City of Tonawanda, August 14, 2023. Devoted husband of 57 years to Janice (nee Polowniak), beloved father of Brian and Mary, son of Mary I. Miller and the late Clyde Miller, loving grandfather of Loren, Lindsey, Hayden, Logan, Mason and Brody, great grandfather of Maverick and Genevieve, brother of Charlotte “Chy” Harp, Kathy (George) Fassbinder and the late Gary (living spouse Diane) Miller. Alfred served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He then went on to work at GM Powertrain for 38 years until retiring in 2006. He was an avid bowler, Lego builder and enjoyed walking his dog Coco... and an ice cold Genny on occasion. Al was a great guy, selfless, everybody loved him, he will be missed. His family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 3-6 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in the City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday at 6 PM following the visitation. Everyone is welcome to attend. A burial with military honors will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Monday at 12 Noon. Please assemble in the office parking lot near the Delaware Avenue entrance.
