Age 89 of Lockport and formerly of the City of Tonawanda December 25, 2019. Wife of the late Harry S. Carter and the late Stuart C. Carney, mother of Deborah (late Dennis Hibler) Kervin, Diane (Neal) Myers and the late Nancy Schear and Mark Carter, mother-in-law of John Schear, grandmother of Donelle (Richard), Diana, Heather (Rick), Aaron (Tia), John, Mark, Timothy (Sarah), Michael (Amanda), Matthew (Taryn) and Nathan and 25 great-grandchildren, sister of Carol (late Bruce) Belling, James (Joyce) White, William White and the late Thomas and Gerald White. Also many nieces and nephews. Alice was a member of North Presbyterian Church where she volunteered in the church’s annual VBS Basket Fair and other activities of the church. She was an avid quilter, loved to knit, sew and also enjoyed golfing. She spent many Winters in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 4th at 10:30 AM in North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Ave. in North Tonawanda.
