Alice Schultz Obituary

Alice M. Schultz (Hennigar),

95, of Sarasota Fl. and formerly Tonawanda, NY, passed away on 6/15/26. Born 2/13/31 in Lowell, MA, to Joshua M. and Margaret (McDougal) Hennigar. She is predeceased by her husband William A. Schultz who passed away in 2006. She is survived by her children Janice M. (David M.) Bencic of Batavia, NY, Joyce E. (Dr. Michael C.) Sheldon of Sarasota and her son William M. Schultz of Ashland OH. Also survived by her brother Edmund Hennigar of Rockin, CA and Ronald Hennigar of So. Paris, ME and predeceased by her brother the late Rev. Richard (late Lorraine) Hennigar and Rev. Edna (late Rev. James) Love. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 
Alice retired in 1984 as a teller from Marine Midland Bank in Tonawanda. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Sarasota. She was also an avid golfer until she was in her 80's as it was her true passion. She also enjoyed playing cards and is known for her delicious chocolate cookies. 
Friends may call Monday, June 22, from 4-7 at John 0. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William St., Tonawanda NY. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 23, at 11:30 at St. Christophers Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda NY. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery where she will be with her beloved husband once again. A reception will follow at The Elks Lodge, 55 Main St., Tonawanda. Friends and relatives are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
