"Bethann was a one-of-a kind woman, leader, wife, mother, and friend. She lived her life to the fullest and never looked back. Bethann was a trailblazer throughout her career, with a work ethic and confidence pairing that couldn’t be ignored. She rose the ranks at General Electric, ultimately becoming a Division CEO under the infamous Jack Welch, doing what was quite rare for women during that time. She never shied away from championing herself when she needed to, while simultaneously coaching and championing those around her. Turns out, that’s what she was best at. Bethann eventually started Legend Sales & Consulting, where she spent the remainder of her career making a lasting impact across a number of Fortune 500 companies and their employees. She always said she never had to work a day in her life because she absolutely loved what she did. She played an equally, if not more, important role at home in the lives of her husband Doran and their three children, Jillian, Lauren, and Peyton. Bethann loved her family with every fiber of her being, they were her “Why”. She cherished her marriage of 38 years to the love of her life and soul mate, Doran. They had a love that will stand the test of time. She and Doran welcomed three beautiful children into the world, raising each of them to be strong, driven individuals. She and Doran could not be more proud of the lives they have each created for themselves. Above all else, Bethann was (and is) a daughter of God who had an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She led her family to the Lord, feeling it was the biggest job God gave her here on earth. She has had a lasting impact on all those who knew her, and her legacy will be carried on in too many ways to count. To close with Bethann’s favorite signature, We can’t always choose the music life plays us but we can choose how we dance."
