Age 89 of the City of Tonawanda. Loving wife of 69 years to Herman W. Sparks, mother of Frederick (Carol) Sparks, Candace (Tim) Elinski, Gary Sparks, Cynthia (James) Kerr and Cathy (Scott) Rex, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy Challgren and sister of the late Aldene Meyers. Also 2 nephews and 1 niece. Britta was a member of Tonawanda Senior Center. There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Monday December 18, 2023 at 11 AM in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St. in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. A private burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, memorial contributions in memory of Britta may be made to Salem United Church of Christ. Arrangements by JOHN O.
