Kohler, Christine A. (nee Dahl)

July 7, 1948- July 20, 2025           

Age 77, a lifelong resident of the City of Tonawanda, passed away Sunday after a brave battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late James M. Kohler who passed away unexpectedly in 1986 and was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary E. (nee O’Neil) Dahl.  Mother of Barbara J. Kohler, sister of Joan M. Otterstein, John C. Dahl and David A. Dahl. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Christine graduated from Tonawanda High School, Class of 1966. Christine was mainly a homemaker throughout her life. She was the dearest lifelong friend of former Tonawanda resident Maryann (nee Bryans) Gillingham. She is sadly missed by many other lifelong friends. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad St.) in the City of Tonawanda, NY. A Memorial Mass will be conducted Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:30 AM in St. Christopher RC Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of Tonawanda, NY. Private Burial will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Buffalo or The 10 Lives Club in Christine’s name would be greatly appreciated.
