Age 66, formerly of the City of Tonawanda, after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his life partner Sue Sargent. Son of the late Richard and Nira Kohler, brother of Mary Beth (Bob) Lance, Peggy (Ray) Adornetto, Patty Wei, Rick (Sue) Kohler, Richard (Jayne) Kohler and the late Anne Kohler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He loved his dogs and his cat Lilly. Chris was a1977 graduate of Tonawanda High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a Buffalo Bills fan and a griller. His family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 4-6 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda, where a Prayer Service will be conducted at 6 PM following the visitation. Everyone is welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Hospice Buffalo.
