DALY - Craig D.
Age 83, of North Tonawanda, died Sunday, January 30, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Beverly (nee Schreiner) Daly, who died in 2019; adored father of Dyanne (Christopher) Ingram, Heather (Ed) Cymbalak, and Caren (Stephen) Kazmarek; loving grandfather of Alexxis Butera, Charles, Caitlyn, and Ayden Ingram, Hannah and Patrick Gold, Sebastian and Lorelai Cymbalak, and Ashlynn Kazmarek; dear brother of Kay (James) Warner, Bruce (Laurie) Daly, Wallace Daly, Doris (JB) Homan, and the late Susan Brumley, Penelope Falb, Lorelei (Glynn) Pennington Jr., the late Alexandria Diane (George) Chivas, and the late John Alan Fisher; brother-in- law of Coyla Schreiner; also survived by several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, many cousins, and numerous friends. Craig was an avid train man. He worked for the railroad for over 30 years, starting with Penn Central Railroad, then Conrail in Buffalo, NY, and CSX in Pittsburgh, PA. He loved to build and run model trains throughout his life and loved going to model train shows and riding trains of any kind. He loved Crystal Beach and worked there for 6 years in his teens while at his family cottage. He learned many tricks for games of chance, which delighted his kids and grandkids, and collected Crystal Beach memorabilia. Craig was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a longtime member and Deacon at Salem United Church of Christ in Tonawanda. He was very generous and supported many causes close to his heart and would always help a friend or family member. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating his life on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 11 AM, in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St., in Tonawanda.
