SMITH, DAVID J., age 72, of North Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, entered into rest on March 30, 2024 surrounded by family. David is the son of the late Walter and Betty Smith. A devoted husband to his loving wife of 50 years Nancy J. (nee Archibald) Smith and beloved father of Jeremy and Christopher Smith, proud grandfather of Abigail, Annebelle and Peter Smith. David is also survived by his siblings Walter (Karen) Smith, Diedra (Tom) Coon, Lucinda (Gary) Gust and Dores (Jim) Hicks. Also many nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and lifelong best friend Mic Walker. David retired in 2020 after a 48 year career at Twin City Glass. David played guitar in various bands and enjoyed camping and playing golf. Recently David became a connoisseur of bourbon. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday April 4, 2024 from 4-6 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in the City of Tonawanda, where a Celebration of David's Life will be held Thursday at 6 PM following the visitation.
