Geercken, Dawn M. (nee Shearer)

We are so heartbroken to share that Dawn left us mid-afternoon on May 10th, just before Mother's Day. Dawn was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She touched so many lives of people around her, even in her community. Dawn is survived by her two sons, Brandon Geercken and Grant DelPrince, granddaughters Mikaela Serviss and Eden Geercken, sister Barb Shearer, brothers John Simon and Larry Shearer, Best Friend Annie, ex-husband Brian Geercken, companion Robert Black and so many others.

We are comforted by the thought that Dawn is forever spending her time with the Lord, her parents, her son Matthew Serviss, and her granddaughter Paeytn Geercken.

Dawn spent her life living it to the fullest. She was always down for a good time, a mother to come to for all the kids in the neighborhood, a thoughtful friend, and so much more. Her kindness, humor, and strength had a lasting impact, and we will miss her so much every day. A Celebration of Dawn’s life will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Jake's Grill, 289 Adam Street, Tonawanda, NY.
