Donna E. Mussell, (nee Hunter)

Age 67, of the City of Tonawanda, passed awayin the arms of her loving husband of 47 years, Robert C. Mussell, on Sunday (May 15th) morning after a brief illness. Donna and Bobs lives were blessed with 3 wonderful children, Christina Mussell, Robert (Julie) Mussell, and Ashley (John) Jabrucki. Donna’s grandchildren Hunter Peterson, Sophia, Isabella, Ana Mussell, and soon to be baby J were the lights of her life. Daughter of the late James and Beatrice (nee Hewson) Hunter. Sister of Mark, David, John (Kathy), late James (late Ina) Hunter and late Bonnie (late Art) Miller. She will be forever loved by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Donna worked for many years as a lunch lady at Tonawanda High School. She absolutely loved being a mother to everyone and was the most giving person. In her spare time, she was an active volunteer for the Music is Art Foundation and enjoyed gardening, painting, and baking rhubarb pies. On Sundays, she enjoyed yelling at the television while supporting the Buffalo Bills. Those who had the privilege to interact with Donna know of her absolute love for her grandchildren and any of those she came in to contact with. She truly lived life to its fullest and never took a single day for granted. She and Bob also found solace in their shared faith and prayed together daily. Above all else, Donna loved fiercely and has a heart of gold. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 20 from 4-7 PM with a service delivered by her brother Pastor John Hunter at 7 PM at JOHN O.
