Age 89 of the City of Tonawanda, July 1, 2023. Husband of 43 years to the late Mary Ann (nee Chabala) Bloom who died in 2005, father of James (Jean) Bloom and the late David Bloom, grandfather of Andrew, Michael and Matthew Bloom, son of the late Rex and Mabel Bloom and brother of Clayton (late Silka) Bloom. Also many nieces and nephews. Drexel was a US Air Force Veteran and was employed by General Motors Powertrain for 36 yrs retiring in 1991. Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 6, 2023 from 4-7 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71 Adam St. in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend.
