Elinor H. (Remus) Deeb

Deeb, Elinor H. (nee Remus) Age 91, of the City of Tonawanda, passed away July 28, 2022, under the  care of Niagara Hospice House. Mother of Patricia (late Joseph) Chakalis, Susan Deeb, Peter (Victoria) Deeb, Lori Deeb and Christine Deeb grandmother of Joseph P. Chakalis, Melinda ( Kevin) DeHollander, Franklin  (Marlena) Gagner, Jacob Gagner, Michael (Eric) Deeb-Weaver, Katrese Deeb, Elizabeth Neal, Christopher (Daniella) Neal, Joshua Neal, Cory (Gabrielle Banach)  Compeau and Kalyn Compeau; great-grandmother of Kiana Neal, Maia Neal, Emari Neal and Lila Compeau, daughter of the late Arthur C. and Erna F. Remus and former wife of the late Peter Deeb. Elinor was a 1948 Tonawanda H.S. Graduate. Long time secretary at Salem United Church of Christ until 1996, where she was also a Sunday School Teacher, Elinor was a founding member of the City of Tonawanda Garden Club, Her other memberships included Rebecca's Lodge, Willing Hands at Salem, Syrian Lebanese Club and Wheatfield Garden Club. A visitation will be held Thursday (August 18th) 4-6 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME INC. 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 6 PM following the visitation. Everyone is welcome to attend.
