Age 92 of the Tonawandas, January 2, 2021, under the care of Hospice. Wife of 66 years to the late James E. Foels, who died in 2015; mother of John (Patricia) and Thomas (Patricia) Foels; grandmother of Jeff (Melissa), Chris, Josh and Sarah (Brian) Foels, and great-grandmother of Lilian, Evan, Sam and Luciana. Libby was a 1945 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and a graduate of the University of Buffalo. She had been employed as a North Tonawanda Senior High School Teacher for 25 years. Libby served on the NY State German Regents Committee and was a member of the Old Fortnightly Club of the Tonawandas, DeGraff Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a lifelong member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. A private Prayer Service was held in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in North Tonawanda with Libby’s immediate family.
