Age 78, formerly of the City of Tonawanda and Grand Island. Husband of Leona (nee Majewicz) Sorri.  Son of the late George and Edith Sorri. Father of Cheryl (Scott Thompson) Gerfin, Lisa Sorri, Ronald (Justine) Sorri and Deanna Dlugokinski, stepfather of Lynette Smith, Ann (Alexander) Santana and the late Guy (living partner Shelia Hall) Pfleger, grandfather of Marc, David, Andrew, Kaleigh, Allison, Jason, Jack, Joe, Edward, Thomas, Crystal, Carrie, Alex, Kayla and Candace. George is also survived by many, many great grandchildren and was the brother of Bonnie (Francis) Haskell and Cindy (Donald) Meyer. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 5-6:30 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda, NY, where a Memorial Service will be conducted on Wednesday following the visitation at 6:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend.
