WISNIEWSKI - Hedwig M. (nee Szczkutowicz)
Age 100 of Black Rock in Buffalo, March 27, 2023. Wife of the late Walter A. Wisniewski who died in 1977, mother of the late Naomi (late Joseph) Cioppa, David Wisniewski and Carolyn (Gregory) Johnson, grandmother of Joseph (Kristin) and Anthony (Michelle) Cioppa, Adam and Jared Wisniewski and Sara Johnson, great grandmother of Julia, Joey, Ian, Aidan, Nathan, Owen and Keegan, sister of Bernice (late Stan) Nadbruzuch and the late Mary, Adam and Joseph. Also many nieces and nephews. Hedwig was a devoted parishioner of Assumption RC Church in Buffalo. Hedwig loved to crochet and was an avid reader, gardener, baker, cook and was the best pierogi maker in Black Rock. She also loved time with her family. Calling hours will be held on Friday March 31, 2023 from 4-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10 AM Saturday April 1, 2023 in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71 Adam St. in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. Burial will be in Mt.
