Janita E. (Jaenecke) Taylor

TAYLOR, JANITA E. (nee Jaenecke), age 96 of the Town of Tonawanda, July 3, 2021 under the care of Hospice. Beloved wife of the late Mahlon B. "Tubby" Taylor who died in 2005, mother of cherished children Valerie (Clyde) Hickok and Robert (Sue) Taylor and sister of the late Norman, Wallace, Myron and Irving Jaenecke and Grace Edwards. Janita was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School and a member and Sunday School Teacher of the former Grace Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda. She was a former employee of G.C. Murphy Co., Bell Aircraft, Columbus McKinnon Chain Co. and Tops Market. (Children liked to refer to her as the cheese lady!). A private burial was in Elmlawn Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday July 9th from 2-3 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda, where a Prayer Service will be held at 3 PM following the visitation. Everyone welcome to attend.
