Age 75 of the City of Tonawanda, April 1, 2026 under the care of Hospice. Father of Kate (John) Gauntt, grandfather of Dedrick, Anthony, Nyia, Claire, Lora, Ruth, Jimmy and Josephine, son of the late Roger and Ruth Leaderstorf, brother of Susan Leaderstorf, uncle of Jeni (Christopher) Yeomans and nephew of Tinie (late Duane) Leaderstorf, step-father of Ryan and Matthew Roll. Also survived by many cousins and all his friends at the Junkyard. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 4-7 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda, where prayers will be conducted at 7 PM following the calling hours. Everyone welcome to attend. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in memory of Jay may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
