Jean E. Mlynarski, age 93, passed away peacefully on Monday January 30, 2023. She was the wife of 72
years to the late Edward Mlynarski who passed July 1, 2020. Jean was a devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, and great grandmother. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, taking care of her
home and family, and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed music and followed her son-in-law’s band,
The A-List, for the last 15 years and quite often you would find her on the dance floor.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Casey Kubala and Harriet Barchicowski (Vince), her husband
Edward Mlynarski, son Edward R. Mlynarski, two brothers Joseph and Robert Kubala, and grandson
Shawn Tompkins.
She is survived by her children Karen Tompkins, David Mlynarski (Yu), and Kathleen Harrington-
McDonell (Craig), daughter in-law Lorraine Mlynarski, sister Camille Sippel, ten grandchildren, sixteen
great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Jean would want all of her family and closest friends to celebrate and remember a life well lived and to
be kind to each other, take time to remember life’s special moments and live the rest of your days with
hope, joy and all the love you can give.
Services will be held at St. Stanislaus Cemetery at a later date.
