McInnis, Joan A. (nee Murphy)
Age 92, of the City of Tonawanda and formerly of Worcester, Mass., passed away December 29, 2023. Dear mother of Colleen (Robert) Angelhow and Timothy (Pamela) McInnis, wife of 55 years to the late Joseph W. McInnis, mother of the late Michael (living spouse Monica) McInnis, Edward McInnis and Kathleen McInnis, sister of the late Helen (late John) Kennealy, Anne (late John) Keenan, and Frances (late William) Murphy, beloved Nana of Joshua (Courtney), Kyle (Emily), Michael, Katie (Nick), Jedediah (Jessica), Joseph (Hayley), Meaghan (Kyle), Ryan, Brianna (Bryan), Patrick (Bridget), Morgan and Peyton, also survived by 17 great grandchildren and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Joan’s caretakers Gail and Alexis. Joan was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, a member of the Choir, Bereavement Committee, and Bingo worker. “Joanie Baby” was a member of the Rum Dum’s Card Club for over 45 years. She worked as a cook at the Federal Reserve Bank in Buffalo. Her family will receive relatives and friends Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad St.) Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday, January 6 at 9:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad St., Tonawanda. Everyone is welcome.
