Joan E. (Crouch) Schinaman

SCHINAMAN, JOAN E. (nee Crouch), age 87 of the City of Tonawanda, September 1, 2022 at her residence under the care of Hospice. Wife of 65 years to Joseph C. Schinaman, mother of Joseph (Connie), Jay (Katherine), Thomas and Jon (Tammi) Schinaman, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Misco, sister of Richard (Maryann) Crouch and the late Charles (late Virginia) Crouch. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Joan was a 1953 graduate of Tonawanda High School where she was a High School Cheerleader. Joan enjoyed dancing throughout her life and also enjoyed cross country skiing and feeding the birds in her backyard. Her greatest joy of her life was taking care of her grandchildren and taking pictures of her family and friends. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Sept. 6th from 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday Sept. 7th at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad St. in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. A casket placement will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation of WNY. Condolences may be shared at www.ROTHFUNERAL.com.
