John "Jack" Ceder Obituary

CEDER - John D. “Jack”
Age 87 of the Town of Tonawanda, November 26, 2019. Husband of 59 years to Shirley I. (nee Peters) Ceder; father of John D. Ceder, Jr. and Amy (Scott) Hummel; grandfather of Jack and Cody Ceder, Laura and Bryan Hummel; brother of Maxine (late Edward) Seidenspinner. Jack was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea during the Korean War and was a member of the Milton J. Brounshidle Post 205 American Legion. He was a long time member of the Buffalo Trap and Field Club and a long time Bill’s fan. Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 2nd from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St., (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 3rd at 11 AM in Salem United Church of Christ, 149 Morgan Street in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome. A private burial will be in Skinnerville Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions are preferred to, Salem United Church of Christ.
