Greenawalt, Kathleen R. age 77 of the City of Tonawanda passed February 27, 2025. Wife of 56 years to M. Jack Greenawalt, mother of the late Scott (Amy) Greenawalt and mother of Carrie (Michael) Grant. Nana to Kindra (Joshua) Castillo, Allison (Eric) Villalta, Alexis, (Kevin)Swanson and Laura Grant.  Great Nana to Eliza Castillo. Daughter of the late Harriet (nee Walsh) and Richard Wheaton. Sister of Richard and the late Brenda Wheaton and Patricia (Ray) Endres. Loving and proud aunt to Mark (Janice) Zawistowski, Joe (Katie) Zawistowski, Samantha, (Matt) Pacana, June (Tony)Piette, Marcia and the late Bill Vanderslice. Kathleen worked over 30 years at Tonawanda City Hall as assistant to the Clerk. She was passionate about her church, children, grandchildren, gardening, and had a beautiful singing voice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at John O. Roth Funeral Home Inc. (between Broad a & Morgan Sts.) in the City of Tonawanda on Sunday, March 2 from 4 - 7PM . A Funeral Service will be conducted Monday, March 3 at 10 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 149 Broad Street in the City of Tonawanda. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
