Age 100 years young, of North Tonawanda, at her son's home in Brookfield, CT. Leatrice was born in Amherst, NY to the late Edward and Mildred (nee Brunner) Bach. She was a resident of the Tonawandas for the better part of her life. Leatrice was the wife of the late Raymond Weiser (5 years) and the late Stanley Kopec (68 years). She is survived by her children Sandra (late Richard) Dawson of the Tw. of Wheatfield, Robert (Linda) Kopec of the Tw. of Pendleton and Ronald (Karen) Kopec of Brookfield, Ct., seven grandchildren, Kim (Mark) Pinney, Richard (Kelley) Dawson, Ronald Dawson, Lisa (Earnest) Knight, Scott (Deborah) Kopec, Jennifer (Richard) Bott and Christopher Kopec; sixteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Dorothy (Levant) Phillips, Mildred (Leo) Brenon, Donald (Grace), Arthur, William (Helen), Edward (Constance) and Richard Bach. At age 14 she started her working life ranging from retail store supervisor to owner/operator of a delicatessen to home health aide and many more. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Guild. Her community involvement included years of volunteer work with the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and participating in cancer research for over 40 years. Her interests included crocheting, exercising, eating healthy and tending to her flower gardens. She always enjoyed a good card game with friends and family. Whether you knew her as Sis, Leatrice, Lea, Aunt, Mom or Grandma, her zest for life will always be remembered. Calling hours will be held on Monday October 30, 2023 from 4-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St.(between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday Oct. 31, 2023 in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Dr. in North Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend.
