Rice, Leroy I.

Age 84 of North Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda. Husband of the late Lorraine (nee Doane) Rice who died in 2022, father of Wendy (Daniel) Boyd, Frank Rice, Dale Rice, Tricia (Gregory) Maerten and the late Craig Rice, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, son of the late Irving and Elva (nee Olsen) Rice and brother of the late Alice (late Stanley) Kightlinger. Leroy was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. After his retirement, Leroy was employed as a Bus Aid for many years. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Thursday May 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel at Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Road North in North Tonawanda, NY 14120. A placement of cremains will follow the Prayer Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Leroy may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Foundation Children's Ward.
