STEINIG, LINDA L. (nee GALLAGHER) 

September 1, 1941 - June 11, 2026
Age 84, formerly of the City of Tonawanda, Northport, FL and Long Beach, Ontario passed away June 11th 2026 in Powell, Ohio, under the devoted care of her daughter. She was the wife of 54 years to the late Paul H. Steinig, the love of her life, who died in 2016. She was the loving mother of Jeffrey (Maria) Steinig, MD, Kevin (Lynda) Steinig and Paula Jones, DO, 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Daughter of the late Donald and Betty Gallagher and sister of Sue, Jack (Kathleen), Daniel (Joyce) and Gary (Pamela) Gallagher. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and Long Beach Family. Linda was a 1959 graduate of Tonawanda High School and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. Linda was known for her gentle spirit and kind heart. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. Whether celebrating holidays, attending family gatherings, or simply sharing everyday moments, Linda's warmth and love brought everyone together. Her home and her heart were always open to family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday July 13, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at 9:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71 Adam St., City of Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev. Robert Orlowski will officiate. Final resting place will be in St. Francis Chapel Columbarium.
