WALTERS - Linda I. (nee Carney)
age 78 of North Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, February 4, 2023. Wife of 58 years to James F. Walters, mother of Janette, James and Tina Walters, daughter of the late Leonard and Janet (nee Chase) Carney and sister of Robert (Mary) Carney, Richard (Carol) Carney and Sharon (late Douglas) Cleveland. Also nieces and nephews. Linda was a 1962 graduate of Tonawanda High School and a long time active member of Salem United Church of Christ. Linda was also a member of the Delaware Hose Vol. Fire Co. Women’s Auxiliary, the Live Hose Vol. Fire Co. Auxiliary and also the Delaware Hose Co. Rehab. Calling hours will be held on Thursday Feb. 9, 2023 from 3-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday Feb. 10, 2023 at 11:30 AM in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St., in Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend.
