Lois Elizabeth Kramer
March 4, 1930-April 26, 2026
Lois E. Kramer, 96, formerly of North Tonawanda, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday April 26, 2026 after a brief illness. Born on March 4, 1930, she was the daughter of George and Louise (Pfanner) Hamblet of Tonawanda, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Sherwood H. Kramer. Together they raised a family of 4 children, Margo (Douglas) Fronczek, William (Carolyn) Kramer, Shelley (Robert) Rohauer, and Jody (Thomas) Schmidle. Lois enjoyed the love of 11 grandchildren, Nathan (Laura Tyrrell) Fronczek, Jill (Michael) Bahrenburg, Sean (Katie D'Amato) Kramer, Justin Schmidle, Ashley (Adam) Dietrick, Dana Kramer, Jacob (Caitlin) Fronczek, Brittany Schmidle, Corey Rohauer, Kyle (Lisa) Schmidle, Tim Kramer as well as 12 great grandchildren. Lois was an active member of St. Paul's UCC, Wendelville and the Rescue Fire Company #5 Ladies Auxiliary. For many years she enjoyed a variety of activities with many friends, which included bowling leagues and card clubs. She was also an avid fan of the Yankees, Bills and Buffalo Sabres. But, her true love was being with and enjoying her loving family.
The family will greet friends and relatives at the John O. Roth Funeral Home Inc, 25 William St. Tonawanda, NY, on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM followed by a service at 2:30 PM Internment at Elmlawn Cemetery will precede a dinner Celebration of Life at the Gratwick Hose Fire Company. All are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, VVendelville or Hospice & Palliative Care of Buffalo, NY.
