Kanehl, Loretta H. (nee Denner)

Age 96 of the City of Tonawanda, at her residence. Wife of 55 years to the late Carlton A. Kanehl who died in 2006 and mother of Ronald (Barbara) Kanehl and the late Kathleen Kanehl who died in 2023. Loretta was a member of A.J. Jurek Post 1672 Ladies Auxiliary in Swormville for more than 50 years and also Schuhplattler Edelweiss Verein in Buffalo. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting with the ladies of her church. Loretta was a warm, kind and generous lady throughout her life. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 11 AM until 1:00 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 PM following the calling hours. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev. Thomas Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
