 McDANIEL, LOUISE A. (nee Bartolomei)

JUNE 9, 1931 - AUGUST 10, 2024

Age 93 of North Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, passed to the next life August 10, 2024. Wife of the late Harold W. (Mac) McDaniel who died in 1978. Mother of Keith (Janet) McDaniel, Mary Frances McDaniel and Kelli Ann McDaniel, Grandma Mac to Brian (Valen) McDaniel, Lisa (Jim) Judge and Michele (Chris) Caruana and Nana to Matthew (Rachael) Carlson and Cody Diaz and 10 great grandchildren, Maria, Derek, Benjamin, Silas, Theodore, Willow, Oliver, Matthew Jr., Griffin and one on the way. Daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria Bartolomei and sister of the late Ceasar Bartolomei, Frances Stickney, Orlando (late Vivian) Bartolomei and Manna (late John) Prebeg. Also many nieces and nephews. Louise was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a volunteer at St. Francis Clothes Closet. Louise had been employed at Parsons Drug Store for 37 years where she met her husband Mac. She also spent 20 years working at Forest Lawn Cemetery and she committed it's rich history to her memory and enjoyed sharing it with those around her.  Louise was fond of the color blue, telling a good joke, playing Bingo, Bobby Vinton, Tom Jones and cats which was clearly evident by her home decor and sweatshirt collection. Louise will be remembered for organizing Lepeirs Drive block parties and her puzzle assembly skills but mostly for her strength and determination, her loving and caring nature and above all her love of family. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service and placement of cremains on Wednesday August 21, 2024 at 11:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi RC Chapel, 71 Adam St., City of Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Louise may be made to the SPCA, St. Vincent DePaul Society or the Heart Assn. of WNY. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.
