SHIESLEY, LYNN M.

July 20, 1940 - July 30, 2025
Age 85 of North Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda. Husband of 49 years to his loving and caring wife Rochelle "Rocky" (nee Chilvere) Shiesley, father of Barbara Sefried, Robyn Matteson and the late Ricky Shiesley, grandfather of Rachel, Sarah, Emilee, Katie and Amanda, great-grandfather of Cameryn and Ayden, son of the late Lester L. Sr. and Hazel (nee Mislin) Shiesley, brother of James (Barbara) Shiesley and the late Robert, Vern (late Mary) and Gerald Shiesley, Jean (late Daniel) Emery, Arlene (late Irv) Jaenecke, Ronald Shiesley, Nancy (late Donald) Holler, twin brother Lee (living spouse Sharon) Shiesley, Betty (late Richard) Graham, John (living spouse Rosann) Shiesley and Lester (living spouse Karen) Shiesley. Also many nieces and nephews. Lynn was a 1959 graduate of Tonawanda High School where he excelled in Tennis, Basketball and Baseball. He was a retired employee of Dunlop Tire Corp. Lynn was Past President and lifelong member of the Eldredge Bicycle Club in Tonawanda. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame through the Boys and Girls Club of the Northtowns where he earned the nickname "The Candy Man". Lynn was also a devoted member of Salem United Church of Christ for 85 years. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday August 4, 2025 from 4-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday August 5, 2025 at 11 AM in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St. in Tonawanda. All are welcome to attend. Burial in Acacia Park Cemetery will follow the Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lynn may be made to Boys & Girls Club of the Northtowns of WNY.
