Age 87, of Economy Borough, Pa. passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025 at her rehabilitation facility, Concordia at Villa St. Joseph. She was born on April 23,1938 to Marian (nee Turk) & Thomas Kenneth Jones in Flint, Michigan. She was raised in Buffalo, NY. Margaret married and is predeceased by her loving husband (December 2019), George Joseph Gaesser. They settled and raised two sons in North Tonawanda, NY. Her sons, Michael Joseph and Joel Christian have many fond memories of their childhood growing up in their parent’s home in North Tonawanda. Although raised in a Baptist household, Margaret married and raised her sons Catholic, even running CCD at St. Albert the Great Church (now St. Jude the Apostle Roman Catholic Church). Peggy led a full life as a homemaker while her sons were in school. Afterwards she enjoyed several devoted years at some well-known area businesses, including Riverside Chemical, Francis Bakery both in North Tonawanda and Laux Sporting Goods, Amherst, NY. Margaret was the oldest of 4 children. She was predeceased by her loving sister Sharon Jackson and her husband John, and their children Jill, John and Marc Jackson and their families. Peggy is survived by her younger sister Gayle Stegmaier, her husband James, their son Ian and his family. She is also survived by her younger brother Thomas (Tom) and his wife Jennifer and their children Evan and Courtney, and their families. Margaret & George moved to Florida in 2004 where they bought a home in Spring Hill. Eventually they moved to Sun City Center, Florida where they enjoyed retirement until George passed in December 2019. There will be a prayer service at Ascension Mausoleum Chapel in Mount Olivet Cemetery on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11 AM. Please assemble at the Mt.Olivet office parking lot on Elmwood Ave..
