KLINGER - Marjorie E. “Marge”(nee Garrity)
Age 91 of the City of Tonawanda, May 27, 2021. Wife of 64 years to the late Frederick W. “Moose” Klinger who died in 2015; mother of Amy (Robert) Martinelli, Patrick(Patricia) Klinger, Nancy (late Fred) Dietrich, Karen (Carl) Nocera and Michael (Hanni) Klinger; grandmother of Beth (Brett), Ramona, Andrew (Rachael), Meredith (Thomas), Melissa (Scott), Lauren (Nathan) and Kevin; great grandmother of Audrey, Natalie, Benjamin, Charles, Gianna, Olivia, Luke, Violet, Alice and Jake; daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (nee Daubney) Garrity; sister of Sandra (late Donald) Uplinger, Lynette (late Dennis) Ryan, Timothy (Rose) Garrity and the late Carolyn (late Robert) Morey and the late James “Shoop” (living spouse Mary) Garrity; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marge was a 1947 graduate of Tonawanda High School and was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church in Tonawanda where she served as an Elder and member of Circle II and Circle III, and was also Past President of Fletcher School PTA. Marge had been employed as a Cook at Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion for more than 30 years. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday (May 31) from 3-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC. 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Streets) in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 7 PM Monday following the visitation. Everyone welcome. Private graveside prayers will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
