Swart – Marron W. “Stub”
Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on May 22, 2022, at age 85. Beloved husband to his late wife Brenda, who passed in 2001. Survived by loving partner Roberta Jewell, and brother Robert of South Carolina. Devoted father of Lisa (Kevin) Schroeder, Ronald (Wendy) Swart, David (Tonisha) Swart and Jennifer (Brian) Mysliwy. Cherished grandfather and “Poppa” to Kelsey, Kyle, Will, Thomas, Jackson, Sara, Matthew, Simon, Isaac, and Leah. Adored great-grandfather to Adeline. His memory will live in the hearts of dear friends and family forever. Born in Saulte Ste. Marie, Michigan, Marron settled in the City of Tonawanda after finishing service in the US Army in 1960. Marron worked for 35 years at Moog Inc. He enjoyed serving his community and spent 20 years on the Tonawanda Auxiliary Police. Marron was also active in his church, a lifetime member of the Freemasons, and spent many years teaching navigation and boating safety classes at the U.S. Power Squadron. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and travel. He truly lived life to its fullest and never took a single day for granted. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at Grove Street Christian Church, 85 Grove Street, Tonawanda, on Saturday June 4, 2022, at 9:00am. Everyone is welcome. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marron’s memory may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
