Mary Elizabeth (Powers) Hajduk

 HAJDUK, MARY ELIZABETH (nee Powers), age 96 of the City of Tonawanda, June 17, 2023 at her residence under the care of Hospice. Wife of 43 years to the late Nicholas Hajduk who died in 1999, mother of Sara (Thomas) Rosiek, John Hajduk, Elizabeth (Richard) Dobes, Nicholas (Eileen) Hajduk, Mary Catherine (Scott) Banning and Theresa (Daniel) Caufield, grandmother of Natalie, Benjamin, Marenka (Jordan), Gerik (Samantha), Thomas (Sophia), Sara, Maria, Joseph, Raechelle, Nikolaus, Helen and Emma and 5 great grandchildren, predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Also many nieces and nephews. Mary Elizabeth was a 1948 graduate of MercyHurst College and worked as a Dietician at Sisters Hospital and Veterans Administration Hospital. After raising her six children, she returned to work at DeGraff Memorial Hospital; retiring in 1986. Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 22, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in the City of Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 23, 2023 at 11:30 AM in St. Amelia RC Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., in the Tw. of Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. Mt.
