BARBER, MICHELLE A. (nee O'NEILL)

September 8, 1949 - September 29, 2026 
Age 77 of the City of Tonawanda, NY died September 29, 2026 at her residence under the care of Hospice. She was the wife of 54 years to John R. Barber, mother of James (Jennifer) Barber, Paula (Jeffrey) Gardner and Colleen (Philip Jr.) Struebel, grandmother of Joshua, Julia (Derek), Ryan (Jacquelyn), Nicholas, Autumn, Jocelyn, John and the late Jackson and great grandmother of Bennett. She was the beloved aunt to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Michelle had been employed as a School Nurse at Fletcher School in the City of Tonawanda for many years. She was also a Union Officer for TEA in the City of Tonawanda. She was loved by too many to mention. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday October 7, 2026 from 4-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday October 8, 2026 at 9:30 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Buffalo, NY 14223. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev. Michael Parker will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Michelle may be made to Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation or to Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo.
