Age 79 of the Tw. of Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, April 29, 2023. Wife of 56 years to Robert J. Markovitz, mother of Elizabeth (Brian) Schmitt, Laura (Dennis) Gawron, Catherine Gast, Amy (Donald) Sampson and Jennifer (Daniel) Brock, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Heffernan, sister of Timothy (Joanne) Heffernan, Mary (Claude) Janus, Joyce (Joseph) Sander and the late Jeremiah (living spouse Janet) Heffernan and the late William Heffernan.
