DURKEE - Nicholas W. “Nick”
Age 80, of North Tonawanda, August 31, 2022. Husband of 38 years to LuAnn (nee Zito) Durkee; father of Krystle (Jamie) Wilson; son of the late former North Tonawanda Mayor Frederick B. Durkee and late Dorothy E. (nee Kreuger) Durkee; and brother of Frederick G. (Sandra) Durkee; also many nieces and nephews. Nick was a 1960 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. He owned and operated Durkee Manufacturing in North Tonawanda for 58 years, retiring in 2020. Nick was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He was also a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in North Tonawanda. Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 5th from 3-7 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Broad & Morgan Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 6th at 11 AM. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev.
