Paul Shannahan Obituary

SHANNAHAN - Paul D.
Age 77 of the City of Tonawanda, May 20, 2020. Former husband of the late Phyllis Shannahan, beloved father of Molly (John) Rosenecker, Tara (Samuele) Pardini and Conan Shannahan, grandfather of Ava Rosenecker, Dante Pardini and Aubrei Shannahan, son of the late James E. and M. Virginia (nee Bauer) Shannahan and brother of James (Bea) Shannahan. Paul was a 1960 graduate of Tonawanda High School and attended Colgate University and Buffalo State College. He retired from Praxair after 26 years. Paul loved spending time with family, reading books, taking long walks and writing haikus. “There was a man who lived a simple life and was richer than most. Richer in thoughts and actions”. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Paul may be made to Colgate University-The Shaw Wellness Institute.
